The Canadian Hockey League today announced that Brampton Battalion goaltender Daren Machesney is the ADT CHL Goaltender of the Week for the week ending Sunday October 23 after posting shutouts in each of his two games.


Gatineau Olympiques forward Guillaume Labrecque and Cape Breton Screaming Eagles goaltender Ondrej Pavelec were named offensive and defensive players of the week for the period extending from October 17th to 23rd.


The Ontario Hockey League announced today that Brampton Battalion goaltender Daren Machesney is the OHL Player of the Week. Machesney, 18, picked up a pair of shutout victories last week over two Eastern Conference rivals.


The Greyhound WHL Player of the Week is rookie forward Peter Mueller of the Everett Silvertips. Mueller earned player of the week honours by recording two goals and nine points in four games, including a power-play goal and a short-handed goal during the week of October 17th to October 23rd and helped lead the Silvertips to a 3-1 record for the week.
