That's what i said at the time of the trade that if i were a Leafs fan i'd be scared of that. Will it happen? No. Still.........the possibility that the Leafs could finish in the bottom five exists and the lottery would intensify things too.
Giguere blew it by allowing that goal, yet to me it seemed as if he got it at first too. The problem? PADDLE DOWN!!!!!

Thrasher, a few days ago you poster something about me and a cuss jar but the message was deleted. I can now give you a update on the cuss jar. My wife took it and bought a new TV and a diamond ring. I’ll start refilling it the next time the Leafs play.

You have to be a little happier after last night. The goalie played well. Monster kept the Leafs in it and gave them a chance.
I'm really hopin' Versus or NHL Network brings me some more Leafs games this month. Still not sure if the Leafs defensive challenges stem from Coach Wilson instituting a new system, or if it's the players making mental errors and not executing.
Honestly MLF, sometimes an aggressive pressure the puck carrier defense can look like their losing their heads running around out there.
Just curious, when you toss a loonie in the cuss jar does she make you add the GST?

That's what I've been doing non stop since game one, listening to all the insanity and .. sorry to say it.. but stupidity.. in the overreactions due to 3 frigging games.

On one hand, I DO want the Leafs to finish last, because we could obviously use another top pick to add to guys like Hamil, Caron, Colbourne, Alexandrov, Button etc...
But on the other hand, I hated it when the B's were a last place loser. Being the butt of jokes sucks. And as such, I like the Leaf fans here, and I know it sucked when everyone made fun of the B's. I dont wish that on anyone!
All of that said.....I dont think they will finish last. It appears that it could be somewhere in the 1-10 range. That is just about guaranteed.
I dont know if Kessel will appreciably help the Leafs. He WILL help and he will score goals, but just how many he can score is debatable.
If I had to wager a guess, based on current look as well as future promise.....I'd say 5th overall.

Yeah MLF, when communicating with cult members you have to be very clear and careful ;) Like pin ball machines and poker players they tend to go on tilt.
