2-0 lead w/2 mins left in the game, I know it's early in the season but what does everyone think about Tippet and his new team?
Final 3-0!!!!
There is parity in this years NHL.

I love teams that are in a "us against the world" deal and come through. What? You were expecting "good thing they got rid of that Gretzky guy" ;)

No you are way off, Flat out Wayne can't coach. I remember Bob Gainey taking himself out of a coaching because his team couldn't respond, dont worry Thrash Wayne will be back in the NHL. Remember no one player is bigger than the game that goes for Gordie Howe, Bobby Orr, Mario LeMeiux.
Looks like ole Tippet is getting his players to respond.

I knew that would get a rise out of upice, lol. While we're back at it maybe you can 'splain how Tippet's coaching caused the Pens to take 9 minors and commit 14 giveaways.

Lets see are you trying to refer to a particular game plan that you like?

No, more like the Pens gave the game away.
Crosby talked about the Pens not putting 2-3 good shifts together. He said they had one good shift and the goal was disallowed. Pens were never really in it.
Like you said, parity. Coyotes are good enough to take advantage of a better team having an off night.

I would like to see the top 8 in each conference be close to each other in pts by the time the playoffs start....that would be the benchmark for parity, we'll have to wait and see.

They won't last long, but it's nice to see them fight as if they were trying for that last playoffs spot. Good for them.

I think Tippet will keep everyone towing the line, they have alot of speed which teams haven't realized.

And they have Vrbata back, another 'Yote who had his best season under Gretzky, lol.

Okay so I guess he'll have his best season under Tippet
