Hey Shark Attack,
i think you kind of started it, when suggesting Ian is "another brain dead Leafs fan".
If you didnt mean it that way, just use the smilies, they are there for a reason. I think the debate in the "Tampering" got a little bit heated, so everyone involved should try to cool down a bit.
Although i do like the fact, that we are allowed to use some stronger words here and there (not many kids around here after all) i think namecalling should not have a place on this board.

I have been called an idiot, brain dead or whatever on this board before (and I am ok with that) but as far as I am concerned what Ian did was over the line plain and simple. AS a board moderator one would expect better but I guess that shows the character involved....

And if you had ears you would be a Prick with Ears.....one of the things that I do is to read the rules and the rules for tampering a quite clear...it was tampering no matter that you think.....Learn the English Language

2 cents? We're all wrong. Name calling is trash posting no matter who does it first. It crosses the standard of "attack the post, not the poster."
Without using the word, I essentially called all Leafs fans in general and Janus in particular "cracker." No wonder he came back the way he did.

I have said it and i will say it again (Ian, sorry but i treat you as a normal poster here)...could you please STFU? Its getting annoying like sh!t and i dont want that here. I thought, after Scotty was banned, we could finally have some peace here but it seems everyone around has a little soft spot left. I urge you both, Shark Attack and IanD to stop that crap. We all know it started in a heated arguement so its understandable you both have your points but its got to a point where its annoying to anyone else. Please agree to disagree and we will all have peace. Both of you have been part in making it nasty, but its really enough now. Haven't had the chance to respond your post in the tampering thread. I may get to that later. I took your line in jest and meant my response the same way. Sometimes we're all a little too witty for our own good. It's probably a wonder that with so many different backgrounds and experiences communicating via an imperfect medium that we don't have more flame ups.

I would love to hear that, as long as we dont have any personal feuds going on again. I always love a great discussion with different points of view, but as soon as someone takes a hit at something that he/her feels too personal, i keep on urging you all to keep the discussion on the topic related view and then there will be no reason for personal attacks.
I swear to you guys (and maybe gals), i will be gone from this board as soon as all that sh!t starts again. A heated discussion is nice, insulting is not, i hope you keep the great standard of discussion we have had before
