The Moncton Wildcats of the QMJHL finally got the news they've been waiting for, since drafting Kirill Kabanov in the leagues import draft some seven weeks ago.

Kabanov is regarded as being a top five draft pick in next years NHL draft.

In his first game with the Moncton Wildcats, Kabanov scored the Cats first goal of the game (GWG) and the Cats went onto win 2-0.

In his second game he scored again while also adding three helpers as the Wildcats rolled to a 8-1 win.

I personally haven't had a chance to see him live yet....but it sounds very promising for Moncton.
